Paper Manipulation
This is one of my own drawing at I had created in my own time of a lady. I wanted to use my own drawing beacuse I thought I could get some really intricate cuts out of it such as the eyelashes and lips. The materials I used was paper, craft knife, arcylic red and blue paint and sponge. This is a stencil that I used to see what the outcome would be when I applied acrylic to it.
This is the outcome from the slencil when I applied red and blue paint with a sponge to get the textures I got.
This is my final outcome after the experimentation. I used green card, transfered my drawing of the lady onto the card. I then started to cut away at the hair to make leafe type shapes which fits well with the green card. I then wanted to make it pop out to give it a slight 3D effect, to make this effect I started to cut around the egde to each sholder line.
